What changed for IIT Delhi

The challenge

Premium program. Narrow audience.

IIT Delhi launched a Certificate Programme for Aspiring Entrepreneurs, a high-value offline bootcamp built for a very specific buyer: a serious early-stage entrepreneur in Delhi NCR willing to invest in a premium program backed by India's most respected engineering institute.

The brand equity was unmatched. The product was sharp. But Meta lead-gen on a premium offline course is unforgiving: broad targeting burns budget on the wrong audience, and a high ticket means lead quality matters more than lead volume.

The job was clear: deliver qualified leads, not just any leads, into a single cohort enrolment window. Every rupee of ad spend had to convert.

01

High Ticket · Long Sales Cycle

Premium offline bootcamp pricing meant prospects needed multiple touchpoints and real conviction before enrolling. Broad-audience Meta would not work.

02

Narrow Buyer Profile

“Aspiring entrepreneur in Delhi NCR willing to invest in IIT-backed education” is not a Meta interest. Custom cluster targeting had to be engineered.

03

Lead Quality > Lead Volume

At a premium ticket, 100 unqualified leads is worse than 10 qualified ones. The funnel had to filter aggressively before the sales team touched it.

04

Single Cohort Window

One enrolment window per cohort. No time for slow iteration: the engine had to perform from launch and convert inside the window.

Our approach

Three levers. Cluster by design.

Content marketing leveraged IIT’s trust signal as the conversion driver. Cluster-based campaign architecture filtered the audience before Meta saw them. Every lead came pre-qualified by the funnel itself.

01

Content × Meta Ads

Built educational, trust-building content as the top-of-funnel asset: programme detail, faculty credibility, entrepreneur outcomes. Meta ads pushed this content to the right clusters, then captured leads once interest was already established.

02

IIT Trust Signal

IIT Delhi's brand was the single biggest conversion lever, and we engineered every ad creative, landing page, and lead-form to lead with it. Premium positioning, not discount messaging. Trust-first, not price-first.

03

Cluster-Based Campaigns

Segmented Delhi NCR aspiring entrepreneurs into distinct intent clusters: first-time founders, side-project builders, business-minded professionals, family-business heirs. Different cluster, different angle, different creative.

The results

How it unfolded

Timeline

5 phases
1

Phase 01: Cluster Mapping

Mapped Delhi NCR’s aspiring-entrepreneur audience into distinct intent clusters. Built targeting briefs per cluster. Designed the funnel before a single ad went live.

2

Phase 02: Content Assets Built

Created the trust-led content layer: programme detail, faculty profiles, entrepreneur testimonials. Built to qualify prospects before the lead form, not after.

3

Phase 03: Meta Campaigns Launched

Cluster-specific Meta campaigns went live with IIT-first positioning. Lead volume started compounding within the first week of the cohort window.

4

Phase 04: 647 Leads · 4.30% CVR

647 total leads delivered. Lead-to-enrolment conversion stabilized at 4.30%, above the industry benchmark for premium offline education. Sales focused entirely on qualified prospects.

5

Phase 05: 28 Enrolments · 93× ROAS

Cohort enrolment closed with 28 qualified conversions. ROAS confirmed at 93×, every rupee of Meta spend returned 93 rupees in programme revenue. Engine ready to scale to the next cohort.
